When you right ,you right,
The above settings are for all our Aircooled guys with RWD,
and yes the MeFusco will have Toe-out of 3mm max.only because its FWD

Should make no difference but yes the final set will be with all 4 wheels on the ground with all std added weight.
ie;- Fuel, upholstery, glass, carpets, air lift equipment, seats, back deck, re-painted undercarriage. and all.
As we were working on the carb linkages today, we noticed the accelerator peddle is still missing the peddle roller and shaft.
We where sure we had it some where, but its lost to future clean up
So now we will have to manufacture the parts before the cable can go in.

So today we spent getting all the parts together to do the much anticipated deed..........
Whats that you ask....
Well we tried to set every thing up by hand, carbs, timing, electrical and fuel, and now is the time to turn the Key....
If you can not see it, try ...
https://youtu.be/4ov0aGxOwTI
Well as you can see it was a great surprise when he fired up,
a quick check to see if we had all the requirements such as oil pressure, alternator charging, rev-counter working, and voltage gauge reading
all the time ready to switch off ......but... all went well, all was working and we could let him run a bit.
Yes he is running a bit ruff but still needs timing set, as well as carbs tuned, these where only set on the bench.
Must say Me,very happy with My self, and now I am off to pour us each a BELL'S
cheers!!!

Thanks Guys, yes it was a great milestone to reach.
Not much more to add to the weekly report, other then we fitted an 2nd earth strap between engine and body.
Also set headlights and fitted cover rings,
Will be making a longer clutch peddle cable cam, as this one is too short and will not give me full clutch release with full peddle movement.
Did a bit more air suspension air lines and fitted an external top up valve.
Well thanks for looking and till next update, keep safe

Sunday night and all is well....
Started on the wood for the deck at the back,
Had to trim me some planks and get them to fit.
Landed up with a workshop full of saw dust and the deck fitting well.
Now I need to cut and coat the metal strips to hold the wood down.
Need to clean the workshop before doing any more work, but have an export plant to build before that can happen, so.....
Keep safe and until next time.

Still busy with salt-mine, but did do some work on MeFusco.
Much against my own decision, I went ahead and had Armourplate make me two new side windows.
The old ones with the scratched where just to far gone to keep.
Striped the two doors down again to get the old glass out and the new glass back in.
Now doors are done but for the door panels, which will be fitted once the truck comes back from upholstery, when ever that will be.
Till then
