We then walked back to camp & I upset my Belgian neighbor because the beef burgers we had bought were too smokey, he kept shouting "not possible, not possible" I moved the BBQ to the other end of the pitch in the shade just to keep the piece, he still went on but all that stopped when I told him to go away in the universal language.
Once we had had our fill we took Leah to the park so she could have a play then we got her to sleep & we had a few games of Uno & Yahtzee outside in the warm earnings air before it got dark & we went to bed.

The following morning we were up at 9.00 had breakfast, a shower, packed up & had left by 11.00. We drove North East towards a campsite that was listed in the tourist information guide in a place called Beaufort. The road was mainly autobahn apart from the last 5KM, which took us on main roads through a heavily wooded area. Near our destination we drove down into a valley & stumbled upon a medieval chateaux called Beaufort Castle. It has been fantastically preserved & as we liked the look of it we decided to look inside.
We paid 10 Euros for the 5 of us, while none of the history plaques with information were written in English or Welsh we got the jist of what was going on. We spent about an hour there before traveling the remaining 3KM to the campsite:-

At the campsite we paid 62 Euros for the 5 of us for a two night stay. The guy on reception who spoke perfect English told us to pick our own pitch apart from the ones crossed off on the plan & then return to tell him which one & pay.
Most of the plots were flat but some had a slight incline. We picked plot 124 which had a very slight slope but plenty of sunshine & right opposite a shower, washing up & toilet block. This was ideal as we could wash our dishes in the sinks provided with hot water rather than in the van. The pitch has fantastic scenery & facilities inc a very large out door swimming pool with hydro slide, it has an ice rink a large kiddies park & strangely a cemetery. I believe you can use the cemetery without camping
Once we had set up camp we had tinned spaghetti bolognaise, super noodles, fresh new potatoes & tinned rice pudding in true camping style.
Once the dishes had been washed (it was my turn) we visited the park & walked around the local village, which up until 1944 was a Nazi stronghold. It was liberated by the American army in 1944.
I then used the site free PC to upload some photos into Photobucket before returning to Milly for chicken curry & nazi goreg & nan bread for tea followed by some fresh fruit salad for desert. We played another round of Yahtzee & Uno before retiring to bed at 2330:-
