yes pine i remember one pink and green fizzer for one very rare 1 of 63 made countersunk bolt

Just got back from Pierre, and i officialy have an adjustable front beam .... will clean up a few things and maybe have a chat to uncle about having something laser cut for the front beam.(pics to come later on)

Pine forgot about your fizzers, but will have to go and visit Bugger soon anyways to get windows, so will put them in a envelope for you .

Does taking the bumpstops off cause any potential problems? If so, do you have to make some kind of other plan..?

Cause i want the car to sit lower than the stock height, the bump stops are set for the stock position of the trailing arms once that postion is changed they tend to cause problems, if i left them on it wouldnt allow the trailing arms to have there full travel they need. But they wont cause problems once they are off. (i hope....)

I want to see if i cant get a set of 15'' rostyles and have them chromed and sprayed black (pics are a few pages back) or am still trying to find out what it would cost to get some rims, i was offered by someone in the states back to SA...

Ok after a long debate between me and someone in the USA who is a BTS restorer (BTS=back to stock),my beam will be getting narrowed by 6" this will pull the wheels in just enough so they dont sit on the edge of the fenders lip (if our measurements are correct).Please before going on about what i am going to say please note this debate of me trying to explain that my beam didnt need to be narrowed has been going on for over a month now.i eventually added the measurements up together and found out i was fighting i battle i wouldnt win.......

1. the beam will be narrowed 6" this means that 3" or 8cm will be taken off each tube from the outside in.
2. the shock towers will be cut away to allow us to narrow the 8cm.
3. the shock towers where going to be lazer cut once everythings done, but further reaserch was done and with the rite bushings and so on they where no longer needed.
4. the bushings i will be using to replace the bearings is "full length urethane bushings"
5. once the shock towers are cut off 8cm will be measured then marked and cut.
6. then the grease nipple holes will be redrilled and tapped to hold the grease nipples again.
7. the beam will then have two gussets welded in to provide the support the shock towers used to.

The disk brakes, adaptors will make the wheels stick out that is why we eventually decided to narrow.It was either narrow or dont run the disks,at the end of the day i need the disks for the engine due to the power so narrowing was the answer.....

oh ok. Are you going to use the disks with the 205 x 5 pattern?

The disks are 4x100 and the adaptors will take it from 4x100 to the wide 5 pattern.

Hectic dude...

This beam narrowing business is all new to me - I thought it was a style thing that people liked. Once the beam is narrowed, will your wheels (or the centre line of the wheels) be back where the originals were, or will they be inset slightly?
