And here I am,1'o'clock in the morning because for the third time this weekend we've had a break in in the complex where we stay.

Friday they stole about R20 000 worth of goods out a house 2 houses from me after cutting the electric fence behind my house.Saturday they stole a DOOR,yes,a door from one of the houses!

Tonight the stole one of my neighbours car,an Audi S4,out his garage!

The stuffed up the gate at the entrance to the complex and broke the alarm for the electric fence.We had to do repairs,and I only got in now!!

They'll steal your electric fence too, if you're not watchful... and your alarm system... and your dog... The latest is stealing taps! To sell for scrap metal because they're brass. Not only do you have to buy new taps, and repair the damage from the resulting flood, but you also have to pay the water bill!

In PE,the water pipes run on the outside of the houses,unlike up north.It never gets that cold that the water freezes and it's cheaper than building it into the wall.

Also makes it easier for thieves to steal the copper from houses.It has become a BIG problem in PE with houses and businesses being rid of their copper pipes and water left running,sometimes for days.
