Ron I must say the Ghia looks stunning!!! I`ll have to see it in person though. This means you`ll see me sooner than later. They say good things come to those who wait. Your patience has payed off-big time.

Re: My Razor Edge
Thanks Hennie,
Well, guys, I'm back in Melkbos, the intitial weekend was mal as normal, now I can get into the business at hand... Ghia: fixed two fuel leaks, one more to find and fix, but it appears to be inside the tunnel, so it looks like I'll have to run a new fuel line. The other two were on the discharge of the electric fuel pump and on the fuel gauge sender unit. Took her for a few short drives, no other problems, just fine tuning. Bus: I have stripped the two reduction gear boxes (RGBs) and the one's fine, the other's condition also starts with an F. Off to the gear people today to discuss new plan for harder, splined gears on the driven (output) shafts, drive (input) shaft gears are fine, hopefully I can reassemble next weekend. Bug: Nothing to add, gee kans!
But it's nice to be home. Hopefully I will see some of our local forum members! Cheers for now.

Re: My Razor Edge
Thanks Barry. Did you see the dyno results? 138hp and still rising at 5000rpm. They stopped at 5000rpm because the engine had only done 50km and is still too tight to gun. 211Nm at 2300rpm. I will be going back when she's run in and loose.

Re: My Razor Edge
Ja-ja, she goes baie lekker. No problem sneaking into the fast lane in front of a BMW. Just floor it at the moment the dick-head wants to flash his lights at you because he thinks you're just about to hold him up in HIS personal fast lane and the bee-em become quite small in the 45 year old rear view mirror...

Re: My Razor Edge
The number plate's on straight, now, the old radio is back in, doesn't need to work, coz you can't hear anything anyway over the induction noise, and she went on her first show.
