That should be a relatively simple job to make one - the outer dimensions of you chassis will be exactly the same. If you think about it, you can actually take an old chassis and mount some heavy-duty castor wheels on it to make it mobile.

My (stupid) question is - WHY do you want one of those?

I think the main reason it was made, was to move the body around in a workshop area to make some space at the close of business in the afternoons in order to fit as much cars as possible in a workshop.

Makes things a lot easier when you want to move a car (especially an ACVW) with no suspension around the yard. Also makes it easier to load an ACVW with no suspension onto a trailer...

Is "maiden" a gender specific term?

Can a bloke (not frm Cape Town) go on a "maiden voyage"?

Something I want to Know.

Behind goods trains you see cylindrical carts being pulled. Some are V’ed, in the middle, to the ground and others to the sky.

Why?

If I remember correctly it has something to do with the temperature at which the content is being loaded.
If its cold it has to go into one kind and if it's hot it has to go in the other kind. Has to do with how the tanks expand and contract.

Don't quote me on this though, I'm probably wrong.

Why do seatcovers wear skirts with slits up to their hips and then walk around the whole day holding it closed?
Why do seatcovers wear low v-neck tops which makes their boobs hang out and then get mad at you when you look at them?
