Thanks for the comments guys.
Farhaad, good question, its the engen close to Macassar on the N2, I think there is a houtbay sign a little before it, hence it got christened the Houtbay engen, even if not near it :D

Work on this one will only start next year though. Other projects must be done first.

Cant wait to share more stories. Bugoff - sssshhh.

In the Western Cape till tuesday. Have a swop to make with MR. Mudz on tuesday, some type 3 parts for a certain notch.
Next time we are down here, it will definately require an ACVW get together! Who knows, with a bit of luck, early in the new year. :hangloose:

It's like Boksburg, Benoni, Brakpan.
Or Vereeniging, Van der Bijl Park, Vaaldriehoek.
To "foreign" people all the same place.

Hope you enjoy Fleetfoot.

Got the fleetline a friend...

Battered and bruised, been standing a couple of years. not much rust, but needs a new paintjob and some panelbeating:

A made in Britain Corgi split bus. Just couldn't resist when I saw it standing in an antique store :-)

Hoping fleetfooted will arrive next week - holding thumbs !

Anyone local ever try to "Sambafy" a fleetline:

The regular windows appear to be pretty much the same to me ?

Engine vents look similar, and I already have the white bumpers

KK if to cut a hole in the roof then you need belly pans to strengthen it. Also need a nother nose  without a badge. Ther are more sambas out there than fleetlines. That is now outside South Africa. :D
