just got back from the DRC, I swear their driving gets worse as the dry season wears on. Gautrain sucks balls, piece of shit idea actually. I climbed on at OR after waiting for it for 20 minutes, The marlboro interchange didn't go according to plan, the train was full. Got a call and was offered a lift back to PTA by my Father and brother, they were in Joburg. THEY MADE IT BACK TO PTA LONG BEFORE I DID. OR to PTA was like an hour and a half! there is still alot to do before they equal london underground standards.

Off to the northern cape tomorrow at 5 in morning. where you guys currently? In country or not?

I just spent 3 weeks in northern Moz. Back up there again the end of this week, only for a view days.

The guys are falling over from malaria like it the in-thing to do. One Philipino didn't tell anyone he was feeling crap, ended up in a coma within about 4 hours from telling his boss..... now he is a vegetable lying in a SA hospital...... permanent brain damage. Took 8 hours to evacuate him to SA. Too slow...

Don't f@ck with the little bug.......

The sh!t we get up to.......just for a little fun-time with the toys when you are home......

I just finished my maleria pills two days ago. Those daily ones are crap, I felt like throwing up every second day, was tired for no reason, a bit depressed (???) and dreaming at night(which i never do). Back to the weekly ones for me, might have other funky side effects but still a better option!

That cerebral maleria is a bitch, glad you being careful at least.

Tell you what, the congo is alot more interesting/entertaining than the northern cape

Working from home now... waiting for visa... That really stinks. How to look at P&IDs while the ACVWs call for TLC downstairs...

P&IDs look real funky after a couple of pints... hehe...

No, so long as you stay in your office, hide from safety officers and dont go to site then all is fine
