Hi Guys
What a experience its been, I would do it again anytime. Thanks to Andrew and the rest of the crew of Angel of the skies for making this possible and best wishes and good luck with the rest of the movie. Also a big thanks to the following members from ACVWSA for the donations made towards the fuel to and from Jo'burg its much appreciated
Dr. Watson R250-00
Bugger R250-00
Stutz R500-00
Pine R250-00
Jolas R200-00
I will be sending your names to Andrew who said your names will be added to the movie credits. Thanks again to all who made this possible, after something like this I remember again why I built the Kubel in the first place to be used and not sit in the garage all the time.
Friendly Northern Cape greetings
Danie

Hi All,
A special thank you to all the willing people that were involved in making this venture happen. Daniel was awesome to work with and we had a blast having him and his kubel on set. The footage looks amazing. We are greatfull for the sponsorships and donations towards the fuel expences. I covered all the other expenses (Accomodation etc) out of my pocket.
The footage looks good and the film will more than likely be out in cinema february next year. Keep an eye out for it.
Im just so happy to see that there are some WILLING south africans still out there that are WILLING to help out another.
Thanks
Andrew

Update: spoke to the producer a few months ago, and the film is still in production (seems like these things do not happen overnight)
Anyway, the concept had a very good reception at the Cannes Festival in France this year, you can watch some of the work in progress scenes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3am9oxF8zk
On the blog:
I did it... 138 page screenplay, 19 day shoot, 3 Canon 7D's and a crew of some of the most awesome, young talented filmmakers in South Africa helped me put it together. I was lucky enough to get backed by a successful film producer and directer here in South Africa that I have known for a while, Diony Kempen, he called me up one day, knowing about the project, and said, how much do you need to finish it...
So, Diony, Thank you for taking the time to trust me with this very ambitious project.
