Does anyone know if these seatbelts are original equipment or is it just someones mod?

So some progress was made the weekend, I managed to remove the front suspension from the donor and place it onto the project beetle. Still want to replace the brakes master cylinder before I connect the brake pipes. Luckily the donors brakes was done over about a year ago and all the fexibles pipes were replaced.
Pics to follow

Still havent thought of a name yet. Suggestions?

@ Warwick-Lowlight can remove ignition for you in the week ,Im coming down to Cape town end of the week , maybe we can arrange something

So at the moment I have done some work on the VDUB

to Date:
Removed engine , Gearbox and front suspension from Donor beetle , oh and the wiring loom.

so I have put everything into the white beetle ( still nameless).
I fired her up , is idling smoothly , still some issues with wiring, can anyone point me in the right direction to a wiring diagram , no wipers as of yet.
I replaced the needle in the Solex carbeuretter, cleaned the complete fuel line from front to back , including the filter in the petrol tank.
One new battery has been added as well as a new regulator (pirate) techtronic cost me 90 bucks at Autozone.
Yesterday I replaced the vacuum pipe between the distributor and the carb and the oil pressure switch and have removed the rear screen to tackal a rust problem>
pics to follow...
to be continued

So happy new year to all and a wot wot ! Have been busy ( only slightly ) over the festive season on the nameless white bug. I cleaned out the petrol tank and that small filter, that screws inside the tank. Tank still looks fairly solid for a young bug

I have also been busy with some bodywork , closed up some holes with fiberglass mat & resin and then shaped with body putty.

The vents were so rotten, I shaved them off

A friend of mine got me these lights as a present for helping him out, apparently they will fit a citi golf as well. Did'nt know that

Remember, if you spray matt black, you must mix all you paint in one go and spray everything all at once.

From experience with my ghia.

If I were you I would rather go for Satin Black.

Have a look at a black 350Z at your nearest Nissan dealer

Yes I heard its quite tricky doing matt black , Satin was a thought but I like the matt finish

Update:
Rubbing rubbing and more rubbing! So far the front fenders are nearing completion and ready for MS primer. I worked off all the big dings that were filled with body putty after they were panelbeated. The PO must have hit some speed bumps as the part/s where the bumper goes in through the fenders were completely mangled , so far no major rust has been seen . Where I find rust I remove the flaky bits and apply NS23 from plascon , its a metal primer that stops oxidation and reoxidation(Rust). Gonna see how well it works
! I am trying to get an hour in every other night as I dont want my baby "growing roots' in the garage !
