That is so very true. Unfortunately I subdued a DC Split some years ago t omy abuse of adding bodyfiller.... and thick layer at that! Problem being, the owner, Anton, at the time refused anything else....... Shame really.

i whent to go see the notch yesterday. still stripped .no primer no paint. the guys are still removeing and replaceing rust. he told me that i can picup the car tomorro. im a sceptic i dont think my car will meet the deadline for cars in the park :cry:

Anything is possible dude.....................I hate meeting deadlines.........that's why i got my speedster sorted 3 weeks ago with the engine.....lol.

didint make the deadline but he told me that the car can come home somtime this week. the rat beetle is going in next week and yes Blitzkrieg_Beetle i will post pics as soon as i can :wink:

My car is home :party: . the job looks good. still needs to be polished. now i need to reassemble the car. i.e. rubbers, lights, carpeting , headliner, upholstery & electrical. THEN IM A FOR A WAY il post pics on monday :lol:
