Just make sure that if you paying (angry face), you dont be giving your bank details cos who knows what shit they be doing once they have those records. They wont have to bill you then.... just take take take?

That's very interesting Andy, thanx for sharing.
Well, I'm aware that many people aren't tagged, and I agree with OUTA about SANRAL figures. Rui has just showed to us how "2 more people were registered" as sanral would claim.
I work as a chauffeur part time for a drive your car home type of service after you've had 1 too many drinks, and I must be honest, about 2/10 vehicles I've chauffeured are tagged, and I've driven all sorts of cars (executives to students). Like some, company I work for will reimburse me my highway drive if I send through sanral statement/detailed report and pay for when I was "driving for work". So catch 22 for some of us who honestly couldn't afford not being reimbursed.

The reason the Idiots at work started giving ot e-tags was so as to get guys who were attending meetings or site visits to use their own wheels as since Etols started the guys have been scrambling to use the company pool cars and there is not enough to go around as people who refuse to get tagged will not get paid the full rate for their work traveling, bastards. I was to go to a site check on Monday there was no pool car available so I refused to go and they think by handing out free tags the will get more guys using their own wheels, RIGHT screw you and Sandral.

Ill pay etoll, the day the earth stops spinning, not a moment before. Problem here at work is, people travel with their own vehicles (car allowance) but whent they have to claim travel expenses, they dont get the invoices from scamral, thus they cant prove how much they paid for the road usage.

I paid my first bill...............But that was after a long time of them to-ing and fro-ing and when I worked out that it cost them more to collect it, then I did an EFT and then the fun started with another 4 letters from them wishing me to confirm payment and to sommer pay again. They eventually gave up and listed the account as paid. I've had at least another 17 letters from them since then and have disputed them all.

I have zero intention of paying any of them.

^^^I heard that one.............freaking awesome.

I can see how they can make these kind of balls ups though. One trip through from Pretoria to Jhb to visit firebird and I was slapped with a R600 toll fee. I tore it up and threw it in the dustbin, I didn't sign for anything. Aint no body got time for that.
