The problem is the space lost.
As it is, you need a tool kit, and some spares, as well as a braai, and some chairs, and....
And you have run out of space....
If it worked as well as it looks, a lot more guys would have done it.

I accept. Just for interest sake, this is the kind of thing I like - everything visible with wires neatly arranged.

That's even better that factory. Like it as well.
Wanted parts:
Left sunvisor
Sink faucet
Exhaust to swap for Beetle exhaust

Re: My first beetle build - 1971.
So I'm going to attempt to build new custom sun visor for the beetle.
I took the old visors apart:

Measured and drew my preferred shape on a piece of hardboard:

I'll continue tomorrow night ....

Re: My first beetle build - 1971.
The plan is to make each visor out of 2 halves. Thus I'm going to join 2 pieces of hardboard to gether to make 1 visor with some piping where they join ...

Hey hey. Nice !
Faan I am serious about those pics of the back of the visors. Please send a pic or two interested in seeing what you doing there might attempt it myself and will help to get some detail knuckled down.
