Hi there SA,
I'm Neil Jones (aka Jonesy) and I run Boatyardbuses.com in the UK.
I undertake work on all VW's, but particularly aircooled buses.
I also sell new, used and NOS (new old stock) parts for VW's.
I run Boatyardbuses single handedly, so please bear with me if you contact me as I always try to keep myself busy.
Cheers,
Jonesy

Hey folks,
Adriaan Pienaar invited me via thesamba.com to come here...
My name is Domi and together with my girlfriend I'm travelling the world in a VW Herbie replica from 1963 with a camper in tow - powered by 34 horses (1200 cc). We started our journey in Austria and we covered Europe, Asia, Australia and North America so far. I thought you'll be probably interested in this story which I'd want to share with you. Since our departure in September 2009 we've already driven more than 75,000 miles (120.000 kilometers) in Herbie pulling the trailer and we even went through all 48 continental United States.
Now there's just South America and Africa missing. We'll see what we can do. Maybe we'll get to South Africa too sometime...
Anyway you can check out our brand new blog where you can follow our world trip:

Air-cooled regards from California, Domi

Hi All!
I JUST joined and I don't even know if what I am doing here is the correct way to introduce myself, let alone how to post a normal comment!
I have a 1973 Westfalia Camper that i am in the process of restoring, it has been in the family for about 30 years and was my main mode of transport about 15 years ago. I will post pictures of it soon! It really is looking STUNNING. FULL re-spray (Red and White), New Upholstery, New Motor - 1700.
Cheers for now
Stuart

Hi I am Mafuta, recently aquired a 73 T2 Crew Cab Transporter. Unfortunately it currently runs with a 1900 waterboxer engine but that will be addressed in future with a 2.1 aircooled conversion.

Hi All
My name is Jaco. I bought a 1976 1600 Beetle almost a year ago. Painted it red and put Nerds On Site stickers on.
Since July I am no longer with NOS and the Beetle has been providing some nice shade for the grass underneath it.
I need to get the car going again as my primary transport.
