just a quick one, forgot about the pics, will post a few ASAP, probably tomorrow, need to spend some time tonight with an ale in hand, staring at the bent wheel-arch, in idle contemplation of how to tackle the repair. I'm actually tempted to re-spray the entire vehicle, since the previous owner's spray job didn't turn out too well, plenty of runs, etc, looks like it was done with a boat-load of aerolac cans!! However, funds are limited at the moment, need to turn over every penny at least ten times...(can't perform the eleventh turn, 'cos by then the Receiver of Revenue knows about that last penny, and wants his cut...)

Hi Guys,
I landed on Bugger's site searching possibilities through my main provider of hope, Google. Called Bugger, had a few questions, and he sent me here. So Bugger, if you are reading this, I'd like to thank you. This seems like an awesome place to be in. I have gone through a couple of posts, seen a few project, wow.
I don't own a Beetle, I want one though, a clean and fresh practical everyday ride. Now I'm no purist in any form, nor do I have any mechanical knowledge or background. I know this will require work, but first I need to get a whiff of what this would entail. I think I have come to the right place.

I am on the VWCSA bb as well.
Would really like to join one of your events.
Tell me, is the AirCooled VW SA joining VDUB day 2012?
If so come say hello at the VWCSA stand?
Hoping to have a old school for the VWCSA's annual DubRun to Durban.
Me and some friends want to do a old school year this year.

Trevor Green (Dimsport) Software
My huidige krag staan op 104kw en 338NM op die wiele, maar die kar gaan die week in vir nuwe boostpype en 'n adjustment op die software. Ek hoop om dan so 125kw en 450NM te maak.
Onder is twee fotos van my kar.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Good day uncles and aunties,
My name is Albert, I'm new here and hope to visit often.
I'm one of the committee members of the VW Club of SA, so we definitely have the same taste in vehicles!
My current ride is a 2007 VW Polo 1.9TDI 74kw. I've done a few things to it already, namely:
SEAT LCA bushes
SEAT Sport Intercooler
SEAT PD160 Turbo
Decat
Drop (eers 40mm nForce, toe coilies, en nou VW Racing Eibach drop van 30mm)
Trevor Green (Dimsport) Software
My current power figures are 104kw and 338NM at the wheels, but the car is going in for new boostpipes and an adjustment to the software. Hoping for 125kw and 450NM.
Below, see two pics of my car!
