Found this little old battery charger when picking up something from a shop - untested, but even if it's not working, still nice....

Found this 'Pistol Grip' spot light - chromed spot light bowl with a curved clear glass lense and a bakelite grip like a revolver. Can't find any information on it except a vague reference to pre-WW2 - can anyone perhaps help? I doubt that the cigarette plug is original, but I managed to get it working, and think it is pretty cool!

Non VW related, but it will soon be.

Scored this from Firebird a few weeks back.........

Then, while working in my buddies garage, I found this.

Which now makes this. I have no idea if it's supposed to fit like this, but it's a perfect fit.

Plan of action is to fill in the missing sections with wax and then re-shape and then make a new mould for a new surround. That is a project for another day though.

Super find on the horn button... I have had 2 of those Petri Banjo looking steering wheels.

The ones I had came off a very early Ford. I would love to know if the spline fits or how close it is Roger?
Pity that they are always one piece and cant be seperated.

Looks good!!

I think that this one comes off a ford as well if I heard Roger correctly. The splin deff does not fit as it works with a keyway. I'm either going to have a new column made or have the hub machined out and have a vw unit expox'd in.

The horn push will have to be totally rebuilt as the indicator is mounted on the button and will have to be filled etc etc etc.

Nice Wheel

The button, I be thinking, Be from a BMC car, such as, Morris, Austin, MG

They all had the indicator on the horn button.

Does anyone know anything about it or the club?

Nope I don't, but it's a cool badge for a club in banana land.

Interesting piece Johann, especially the SAA flying springbok. They usually had car maker logos. You can still buy similar ones today.
