Hi Guys

I've been here for a while but havent properly introduced myself. My name is Roscoe, I'm from Cape Town, driving a 1963 Karmann Ghia Coupe, I love all Aircooleds and want to add a 60-66 beetle to my list in the near future. Took alot of work getting this Ghia running as it was standing for 6 years, but she is on the move again. So glad I found this site, lots of friendly and helpful Aircooled Enthusiasts :)

Hi all
Its great to join other members of the Altzhiemers Club. I think I like beetles but find that I cant remember if I like the Rhino bettle or the very popular lady bug. I would like to wish you a happy Xmas and a Merry New Year and hope you can get all the candles blown out on your birthday cake. And before I forget.... um.... oh yes dont forget to put out your easter eggs for the little ones tomorrow, you wouldnt want all those trick or treaters not getting any Valentines day hot cross buns...

Welcome all. Post your bugs in the Projects thread and we will give you all the advice you need... Wether you want it or not.... :)

Hi & welcome, D-train and others, we have the answers for all your questions, not always accurate, but makes for a good forum, when its not.

Did not know you guys in Ozz knew what rust was, thought it was always dry there, which part of Ozz are you in.
Why not post a round on pic's of all your toys in the thread, "my Ride"
Sure all the Volks here would love to see them

Herman

Hi there, my name is Johan Koekemoer and living in Welkom, Freestate.
I've just started with a project of restoring a VW 411 Fastback, 4 Door 1971 Modle.
i was intruduced to the site by "BUGGER"
I need some assistance please. I see the car has an hydraulic clutch. the entire unit is missing on the gearbox.
Where will i be able to obtain the parts, and how do i assemble it?

thanx

Johan (Koekies)

Hi there guys :D My name is Badee, I'm from Cape Town. I have an original 1973 Fun Bug in Hibiscus red. It's my first car and my, what a car! Body work is very close to perfect, not a drop of rust anywhere. Engine goes like a bomb, gearbox, not so much. Still driveable though and i have been using it everyday since the day i bought it (4 days ago). Really into Bugs and i do plan on keeping this baby for a VERY long time! Oh yes, the rev counter doesn't work

Hi Guys, Johan here, new to the forum, Just bought myself an original '74 1600 AC bus, busy restoring it to the former glory and keeping it original (except for some creature cumforts on the interior for the wife and kids) and I'm really exited about joining the AC culture.
