Hi. Ek is Gerrie en ek is 'n VW man, ek ry my 1.3 kewer nou al 37 jaar. Ek het die1978 Kewer splinternuut, by my pa as trougeskenk gekry.
Groete

welcome to the new okes, start new threads with more info and pics of your "rides" - update your locations in your user profiles so that we know where you are,
natasham - pics asap of your '69 delux bus dude - did you perhaps buy it from a chap called Errol ? (Cape Town?)
Cheers

Hi almal,my naam is Willie, ek is van Potchefstroom.

Hi there My name is Mauritz and i have been a vw bus lover the last 22 years ive owned several splitty s and a couple of bay s i currently have a 69 single cab that im not sure what to do with. whether to finish it or sell it on as unfinished project. i really like the bay window auto-villas and would love to take my young family camping as often as possible but im financially committed to the singlecab. Its a69 with relatively little rust. it has an awesome 1776cc motor built by Brian from Volkspares germiston it has oetinger cams flattop pistons and plenty other specialty performance parts the motor set me back 16K almost 5 years ago and ive not even put 2000km on it in that time frame ive also imported all the lenses rubbers bolts nuts cables ect to rebuild it everything still sealed in boxes The spares were imported from CIP1.com (a reall great prts site)at a cost of 14K in 2009 . as it sits in my garage it owes me close to R50000 in parts alone. il post some pics soon im looking for advice on whether i should sell it and get a villa or build my dream drop-side
