Re: "BOBBIE" the '63 Beetle - aka BB / Rosie
Thanks everyone for your support and a huge thanks to Jurgen, Esme and Stanley!!!!
So progress update. Popped by this morning and had a look at progress.....Bobbie is looking amazing and all I can say is that the pictures don't do her justice. The colour of the paint and the contrast of the interior in my view is stunning. Well have a look for yourselfs at progress........
Motor ready to go in (hopefully today
) .....had to fit a new clutch too as the engine to gearbox mount is was different but that's all good and something else that can't go wrong now!

How about a peek inside and see what's happening there!

And the seat that will see some action

almost done!
Work on the front bumper done and the rear one is being cleaned so that it can go back on......I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnell.....10 days before police roadworthy

Re: "BOBBIE" the '63 Beetle - aka BB / Rosie
So Jurgen gave me a call this morning and left a message. He's in work today to continue the stunning work on Bobbie. Big thanks to you!!!!!
Sorry no pictures but update...... from the Jurgen message.....
1) Dashboard all in with Chrome fitted.
2) Under the fuel tank area has all been stone chip covered and it's ready to receive the fuel tank tomorrow
3) If not too much going on tomorrow, the engine might also be going in.
I can't wait to next Saturday and see how far we have managed to get........Thanks to all the forum members for the comments and again a BIG thanks to Jurgen and team.
Pictures on Saturday!
