Hi All,
My name is Daniel. I run a catering company. I've just bought 70s bay window that is being converted into a food truck! I've posted a pic but not sure if it came through. I'm currently looking for a windscreen that's intact to buy. I'd appreciate any help!
Any other help with contacts in and around JHB for maintenance etc. would be appreciated.
Ciao
Daniel

Hi Daniel - that was fast !!! Welcome to ACVWSA
Hopefully you will get a lead on a windscreen soon.
And pray tell - what is the story with the split bus

? You need to start a thread featuring both busses, your catering bus project also looks interesting - cheers

Hi all
Finally got my 1970 Beetle, in nice bright orange

and boy do I have big plans for it.
I have been looking around about restoration and modifications for a few years now, never went in too deep because I didn't have the beetle yet.
Wanted to make it a mean SuBUGru, posted in Advice about that.

Hope you are ready to give me a bunch of information.

Hi there, not sure how active this forum is but I hope its still prety active
I own an old beetle, not sure on the model (ideas on how to check?) that I'm getting to run and make to be my own

So far its a Gun-Metal grey. I've extended the front and back as well as the wheel arches to add more of a hot rod kind of feel to the car. Slapped on some Phat tires and rimmed it up (sorry to all the classic lovers, more of a hot rod guy myself) Black and red interior that I'm going to haveto redo soon sadly
Anyway good to find a forum about Bugs, Love the car and always have
Keep it real

Hi, my name is Nico, I'm 18 years old and just joined your forum, I've baught a 1967 beetle and i'm looking to upgrade the drum brakes to discs. I've heard that the Golf mk1's front brake system is a perfect fit and bolts right on to the beetle. Is this true or have I heard wrong?
