Ive done both my rear axle oil seals while replaceing the rg oil.

Paint the roof white with hammer rite smooth white

Next: sp exaust from volks spares and new sae 30 oil

I am still busy with mine too but have not had any time to post pics. I only need door handles (inside & outside), door lock mechanism and the wiper mechanism. Then i "think" i can get ready for roadworthy (

Callooker has got some handles and lock on order for my SC fleet line if you want to join in on the same order.

Hi Klaus, yeah thanks man. I have ordered them from Rui too, only today though so hopefully won't be too long before I receice them but will have to wait I guess.

@ Louisvr45: I do have a thread (76 Splitty Resto) but have not updated it in a very long time. I have been putting most of my time into the project and also went away for a while in December and that's when I managed to go on the forum for a bit. I will try to get some more pics loaded in the next week or so. I can't go on the forum at work so am limited there as well, but if you PM me your e-mail address then I can send you all the pics...much easier.

Ken, do you have seat belts in the cab? I Need to install the ones I got today but need to find the inner mount for the drivers side. Haven't looked to hard so far but doesn't seem to jump right out.

Hi Klaus, no I dont have seatbelts as yet. Not sure if the were standard or not. Perhaps someone on the forum can help us with this. I cant seem to locate the mounting points either...so will wait and see. Apparently if they were not standard then you dont need hem for roadworthy, but I could be mistaken. Where did you get the seatbelts from anyways?

Ken, I think there's mounting points next to the rail of the drivers seat and one under the 2/3 (door side). Who has mount seatbelts? Do any of you have pictures?

I will take pics of where I think it should be mounted

Took a look in a stripped Fleety today and it seems they are in the middle front of the stash box under the seat. Mine has side mounts but need to see if it has them in the stash box. It away with suspension off at the moment so will only check next weekend.

I got some super nice grey belts with big chrome buckles from Callooker. Nice thick belts they look good for the era of the bus.

Assuming the bakkie is the same as Fleetline kombis and panels, the seatbelt mountings are on the A-pillars, then on the "floor" just outboard of each front seat, then there are a whole bunch of them around the spare wheel well, so you can fit two belts to the passenger seat. You can't miss them as they all have white plastic blanks screwed into them. I use new intertia reel belts from Midas. You just need to drill a single hole in the bulkhead to take the inertia reel, and all the other mounts bolt to the stock mounting points.
