For what its worth, my bug has 205/65/15 and they fit pretty well.
I'll be stepping up to 215/45/17 when I can find mags that I want to buy,

Started designing my wiring harness, doing it in Visio. Lots of things to be drawn, it is a huge task!

Battery, Starting & charging circuit (Batt, Alternator, Starter, EFI & Ignition)
Safety systems (Wipers, horn, brakes, indicators, park lights, headlights, stoplights, daylight running lights) Yes its gonna have LEDs
Interior systems (Instruments, Starter switch, navigation & ICE, door switches and interior lights, electric seats, alarm & immobilizer, fresh air fan assisted cooling)
Monitoring and programming systems (USB interface to CAN bus & Instruments, RS232 to EFI system)

When you visit we can chat some Transmissions

You mentioned some where play with the axle lengths only 2 lengths available but much nicer with nice wider fenders as I am running 265 35 18" on the back of the fly
Adapterplates Available for Rotary in Beetle and others aswell
And Special Boxes built for Rotary Conversions and Scubies

Hey that will be great, taking a look tomorrow at an IRS trans, with rear disks, no calipers tho. Anything to look out 4?

Just check the code on the bottom if it is a BA it is most probab a BRAZILIA trans which is no good for power thas had Universal joints and the guys convert then to CVs

With rear discs is that 944 back end then :?:

:flash: Patience please..... Already bought the Bug from Impi, awaiting delivery..... got extra doors for the chop and fixing the right hand door, picked up a set of '66 fenders, bonnet and deck-lid on Saturday :) also ordered the wiring and instruments.

Quick price breakdown:
R 6000 '67 with ball joint front end, no engine
R 2800 Doors, fenders, lids
R 16000 Can bus Wiring system with remote key fob
R 11000 Digi-dash with logger
R 3800 Rev counter
R 4300 Heads Up Display
R 1500 rear disk breaks IRS

R 45 400.00 Total spent this far and I have not really started yet :shock:

Please tell me if my estimates below is out and by how much please?
