Re: 66 Feuerwehr Project
Mine wont be doing actual duty like your will so I like the white but for duty black will be easier to keep "clean"jolas wrote:eish, that is a classic pic, throws me back into a quandary : red with white or red with black trim ........................
Has to be the black, bought the paint yesterday.![]()
But the red and white in that pic does look good. And you Bugger, white or the black ?

WOW! That '63 bus is really nice. I'm sure it was also at the Mint for the 75th Beetle anniversary? Very cool Pierre
Good luck with the project

the light arm gadgetdoes not look as if it would fit onto the roof but rather acts as a side mirror and warning light. ill see if i can get a better pic.

Re: 66 Feuerwehr Project
Eventually got the left front and center floor section cut out from a donor fot the feuer
Now I basically only need the cargo door side outer and inner rocker panels
I am just still waiting for the rainy weather to calm down before I will take the body for Sand blasting
So Progress is slow
I also got a Quote from a good friend for the Tyres I want to use on the feuer
Dunlop N 700-15 the hight is 762mm Will it fit ???
I have mesured my 15'tyres on the red and white splitty and the hight is 630mm

Dutch have you had a look for the switch yet ??Dutch_Diver wrote:Great Bugger.....I might have an original siren switch in the secret stash that I was going to use in Mo when I thought about fitting some hazard lights....I will see if I do have it and will let you know....It was one of those late nights being stuck infront of Ebay and winning stuff you really didn't need!
It wasn't cheap either
