Lee the previous owner has sent me the old heat exchanger bits because there are J-tubes fitted at the moment, my plan is to remove these & get the heating system working as it should be. I'll replace what I can & repair what I can't:-

Finally got my wipers fitted, with the new grommes in place. After a bit of a fuss I even got them to park in the right place everytime.

Started to fit my Deluxe trim, Lot of work, I started by working out how many clips to use per piece & where each piece goes.
measured the middle of each panel & measured in 30mm from the outside edge. I used the rin gutter as a reference point & drew a line down to the centre point of the buldge. I then marked it all out right around the bus.
The next job was to stick on the clips & check their aligmment. I found that I needed to drop them all by a few mm so the line fell inside the top clip groove. After doing this it worked out well I just had to leave the adhesive dry over night.

I stuck all the trim on today & am pleased to say it lines up well. The only issue is the rear corners which aren't quite curved enough, these pulled the clips off so I'll have to have a think about it try something else:-

Right I wasn't 100% happy with the chrome trim so I pulled it all off againdrilled the frontmost hole & ran a string line to the back pinged it & it left a nice blue chalk line all the way down the side, I then drilled a hole for every clip 77 of them.

I then sprayed waxoyl on the holes & riveted 3.2mm rivets on to hold the clips. now it looks awsome, the trim stits flush on the body work & I know its not going to fall off. The only trouble I cant get the corners to fit as the shape seems wrong, I'll have to phone them on Monday to check I got the right ones. :?
