Pine,i'd also like to know how much this guy charges-even a ballpark figure would be good...
The one dude that I know off who is rebuilding a Mercedes Benz 250CE gave me figure of R5000-00,spraying only, meaning that i have to do all bodywork. He uses Premchem paint...
Sadly,he is out of the country until march next year...

I can't say for someone else, it all depends on the amount of preparation needed, welding etc. But I'm pretty sure it will be more than R 5000...

Sorry guy's, I battle to get into the website at home. It keeps telling me it's not available! Jan does outstanding work. I suggest you guy's pay him a visit to see the work he does. He restores and has a bunch of parts available. He fabricated a lot of the metal for my ghia and welded it in.

Getting ready for a fresh coat of paint. I decided on Bambus (L241) with Tiefgrun (L318) roof.

I see that the OG rim's for that combination is
Inner rim: L87 Pearl White/ PerlweiĆ
Outer rim: L41 Black/ Schwarz
I wonder why they would pick such a combination?

He told me around R10k, and that includes the prep, which they prefer to do themselves
