Howzit.My name is Alan.
Chris introduced me to this forum.I am the owner of the Costom 65 that is in the Projects thread.
I also own a '58 Split,76 Brazilian,75 Fleetline,1600S Beetle.All of the these are in the process to be restored after ordering appr. R100 000 worth of new spares(body,suspension,engine,s trim,accessesories)all to enhance the quality of the restorations.
Nice site,and hope to chat a lot.
PS,I hate exporters,although,if they are interested,bidding starts at R500 000.
BTW,I am looking for a Samba in any condition.

Just like to say hi to all the VW hobbyists and fanatics aswell as newbies to air-cooled. Since i became involved in beetles and combis ive noticed the passion involved in these classics. The newer cars today are seen as just A to B rides. but not with you guys, you like to ride from A to B to C in style. showing off your pride and joy, how creative and passionate you are about your 'family member'.
Lets keep these beautiful 'Brouk' on the roads
