Hi all.... my name is Eugene Dos Santos living in germiston..... I have been involved with air cooled VWs since i was knee high thanks to my toppie. I remember two main vehicles we built that i have been searching for they were sold when he immigrated in 96 i think. One was a karmann Ghia red, grey material upholstery, scat shifter, vdo gauges, gold empi 8 spoke wheels with a 2.1 waterboxer engine oettinger conversion built by hellmut in edenvale..... the other was a 70's beetle kawasaki green colour green empi 8 spoke wheels, california look, scat shifter, 1735cc motor..... if anyone has any idea of the where abouts of these cars please let me know.....

well done on an awesome site....... we really need it to keep the legend alive.

ps. my current project is a 65/66 not sure yet beetle with sunroof, discs all round, slammed and with type IV power.... will post pics as i proceed

cheers!!!
