Hi,
I am from South Africa, but moved over to this kukie little island 12 years ago. I currently work in London but am doing a round the world trip next year. (cant frikken wait)
I have a 1970 Aussie import bay over here because all the english vans are rusted.
dont get back to SA as much as I would like to but try make it at least once a year

I'm daniel, photographer who's lived all over the world and finally decided to come back home. Just purchased a '59 beetle for full restoration. Oh and i live in rust central, on the beach in Umhlanga

Actually started a blog, which is oh so web 2.0.
Was going to get it out this morning, but after running and starting perfectly last night, today i was met with zero electrics on the car. Tried to jump start it with another car and nada...

you prob left something on.
A battery that is too dead wont jump. You need to charge it for a while or hook it to the other car for 10 minutes or so.

I recently bought a 1960 VW 23 window Samba and I'm looking for soeone who restores them. I'm working in the UAE and cant do it myself.
