What did the rear carpet set you back?
It was included in the whole job, but I asked and the supplier who reckoned about R1000-00. If you want him to make you one I will pm his details to you.

Test drove the car yesterday. Project 99.9% completed. Small niggles still to be sorted.

Having spent the last nine months eating, sleeping, dreaming Volkswagen day in and out, I would like to thank everyone involved in this project. It has been a terrific journey and every word of encouragement, advice and support is greatly appreciated. To the restorer Basie Theron of Algadine Panelbeaters in Randfontein I can only tip my hat. What a job Basie! Thank you for making a dream come true!
The one person that I cannot thank enough is my better half which shares the passion for Volkswagen and the smiles on these pictures tells a story on its own!

It great that after 9 months you gave birth to a beautiful, fresh young lady.
Well done, it looks great, must say
the Dash is particularly Great.......
And the rest of the car matches so nice....
Lot of fun with it, and do remember you may still have some niggle issues with it, but that is part of her personality.
