Today, I didn't do much. I gave Goggo a thorough bath for the event tomorrow. Don't think he's EVER been this clean before! However, the past two weeks saw me getting the left front indicator light fixed, as well as replacing the speedometer cable (which promptly snapped off again, so am driving on revs at the moment!).
Still need to get the doors fixed. Why aren't there any good panelbeaters in Rustenburg???

So much to do, and just not anywhere near enough time.
Ended up with a wash, a vacuum, a drive round the block and a refuel.
Not nearly the way I wanted her to look for the 75th, but will have to do for this year...

mrhash wrote:finally got rid if my buckets and fitted new og seats

fixed right indicators and headlight, now just waiting for og steering wheel compliments of @ndrew
left to do
replace handbrake cable and brake shoes
find and fit rear bumper
replace tyres
drink in celebration of progress

brakes and handbrake done
tyres sorted
got rid of all rust on front bumper, headlight rings and side view mirror
hooter needs to be sorted now though

shouldn't be too much trouble
and then it's off to the roadworthy plek
the license only expires in October and i think +-3 months is more than enough time to get the hooter done woop woop
I love it when things come together

Ah! Now see if Goggo had been a lady bug, she would have been beautiful too, and you wouldn't have felt depressed...

pfft come on now, when i say i've done stuff, it's normally done!

the cool things about these lights is they have the turn signal bulb in the bottom, so once i've found orange bulbs, i'll rewire them and remove the fender indicator and just have this.
