WOW Dirk, looks like it was worth the wait. Paint looks great. What did they spray under the fenders/mudguards?

There's enough rust converter and prevention on Christn to make sure she doesn't rust for another 50 years.
And to cover all of that, 5 liters of paint, but the fenders need a little more protection from the damages caused by normal driving. So I had it stone chipped.

YES!!!
Believe it or not, I've not abandoned this project.

Other than that the carpets and roof lining is underway.

Now that I have my life back, things will probably move faster on Christn.

Why don't you rather post it here?

Several reasons:
1. That site is about me, what I find interesting and enjoyable.
2. I have 100% control of that site. It's mine, it belongs to me. I.E. I can write whatever I want.
3. Post shedding is not a problem for me. My pictures and stories will live as long as I want them to.
4. Christn is something I'm doing for me by me. The site helps me document it... For me, by me.
5. Posting the pictures and stories here, would be a duplication of effort I don't have time for. So I post the links.
That just about covers it.

Do you moderate your own topics, and post your own seatcovers?
Do you have any interaction with other people on your site?
It's like playing a tennis ball against a brick wall, which can be fun. It can be fun - but it's not a game. What you want is a partner to return the ball. You want a partner, don't you, son?

Yes, actually I do.

Yes, check out the
comment option at the bottom of each page. You can leave comments on either my site, or this site. Your choice.
Seriously guys, I'm not going to duplicate the effort. If clicking on a link is to much for you, I guess you'll never know what I'm doing on this project.
And as a bonus, doing it this way means that Eben saves quite a bit on bandwidth, because my pictures don't eat space on his servers.
It also means I'm not dependent on photo-bucket or image-shack to keep my photos. Meaning that the photos remain my property and under my
copy right.
For me, the benefits of doing it this way is simply to great to ignore. Yes, it does cost my about a R500.00 per year. For this service though, I pay
it with a smile.
