Installed the fuel tank

took me the whole Sunday cleaning the tank. installing and fitting all the breather pipes

The gearbox and side shafts are next

The gearbox and engine is in

Some wiring to be sorted

Thanks Herman! The engine is turning. Just have to sort the brakes and then I can take it around the block.

And so the day is finally here. I drove the bus around the block It's been a real journey since I bought the bus in July 2009 and today is like a huge milestone for me.




Lost a hubcap on the maiden voyage

Thanks Herman, the disk brakes and booster up front is noticeable compared to the drums up front of my '70 bus.

Saw it in Skinner Street a few weeks ago, looking good!
