From my limited knowledge, It really isn't a Fleetline, barndoor or a '54 :lol: :roll:

Late 60's,but whats interesting is the spout for a basin sticking out,so either a camperv or camper conversion

Im going to restore it as a camper anyway, so it doesnt matter what it is. I just want to place its age out of interest.

Anymore info would be great :). Its cool that its a German lefty, though.

From the chassis plate and checking my specification guide I can say this.
23 5 138852
23= Type 23 is a normal Kombi. (24= deluxe Microbus and 21= Panelvan)
5= 1965
138852= is the number in the series that was built that year
-42 I'm not so sure off and don't have time to check properly now, but hopefully later. I would assume it was a SO42 Westfalia camper conversion.

Nice Kombi! I like these 64- 67 kombis with their improved front door lock mechanisms and wide rear doors. :hangloose:

Yes, that looks like a 65 Westfalia SO42. Very cool bus! How much of the interior do you have? :hangloose:

Basically everything. The interior was disassembled for restoration but ill be putting it back in soon. I dont know if the interior is fully original, though.
