Re: Wich VW do you have?
Hey, thanx for letting me know!
Ferdi built a 1300 motor for my first '58 recently, which I've had for 18 years now.
He's The Best for clutches as well.
SA Swiss works on my VWs these days aswell - they got my new '58 thru' R/W etc.

You missed the following cars on the list of possibilities.
Hebmuller
Standard Beetle
and Fridolin (a.k.a. the type 147 if I remember correctly)

Re: Wich VW do you have?
I would love to have been able to tick all of the above but... we have a VW rabbit 90 cabrio and a new beetle cabrio. We are looking for a project. something along the lines of a splitty or Variant. Awful to see that all the splitties are being exported to the nasty money grabbers.

Well, almost alive.Blitzkrieg_Beetle wrote:

Actually, she’s not so bad. Apart from the cargo floor, the Doglegs and the sections in front of the rear wheels, the body is solid. Just surface rust on the roof and I will most likely replace the lower nose section. I’ve been told that can be panelbeated but I think not.
Sad part is that I will have to sell either the Microbus or Craffie to fund this project. Been flat on my back again for 3 weeks now after injuring my back again. Will decide which one will go once Craffie is done. This bus is in much better condition than the one sold some time ago in Newcastle
