Hi been busy with stuff but a little has happened in the garage
Had a display built for my toys

each one of these has a story

Found a radio gram as well and it still works I would like a new needle for the record player though

My dad had this one in his beetle quite often dated 1968

some oil cans

Cat looking after the Cat

Some more signs

From my hostel days dating from the 50's

more modern

Enamel rules

The michelin man can

Thanks for asking

Small world...
My dad designed that radio, when he was at Phillips, and the pro to type was in our house for months, this was the only radio that we kids could do with it what we wanted, we where the quality check for it.
When it stopped working, my dad would, work out what went wrong, improve on it and give it back to us.
We had a ball, and South Africa, and the rest of Africa got a dam good radio.
Thanks for the memory's

Héé Herman, d'r staat maar één "l" in Philips, joh...
My dad had a very similar looking Blaupunkt which lived in the passenger footwell of his 67 Beetle in 68. My mom had to tune it constantly, as it hissed and pluttered it's way through the Drakensberg, the Blaupunkt, not the Beetle.
