Thanks Tonyz

The ride is brutal, its as hard as a train on a bumpy track, totally unforgiving, it makes you feel alive with every adjustment on the wheel, its a car that demands your unwaivering attention and wants you to actively participate in the drive (unlike my W211 Merc that basically drives itself).

The best part is - I wouldn't have it any other way :D .
Dont know if it makes any sense???

I know exactly what you mean...
from personal experience, DONT slip a disc in your back and then drive your car. If will bring tears to your eyes...

Scratched knucles, and invaluable time with my son. :D
Installed the steering wheel - Thanks again Retrobug

1) Needed to modify the Boss and hub - to fit.
2) Used an SP Boss cover and cut it to fit :D

The others are just pics on how it blends.

After I bought it, I did some research on the steering wheel, and was amazed at the history and pedigree.

"Personal" is a legitimate manufacturer of high quality steering wheels and since the early 90's they've been a subsidiary of Nardi (Nardi-Personal S.p.A.).

The crown logo originates from its successful use in F1 - a bit like the laurel wreath on the Alfa badge. Many F1 champions have won driving cars equipped with Personal wheels.

1980 Alan Jones (Williams Ford)
1982 Keke Rosberg (Williams Ford)
1984 Niki Lauda (McLaren Porsche)
1985 & 1986 Alain Prost (McLaren Porsche)
1987 Nelson Piquet (Williams Honda)
1988, 1989, 1990 & 1991 Ayrton Senna (Honda Marlboro - McLaren) :D

This beetle just looks nice and that colour is very nice. does that oil shroud open and close or adjust? I see a spring on the side of the shroud?
Sorry Dazz for the late reply.
The oil shroud is fixed, what looks like a spring is actually the ribs on the cooler.

They were an old pair of Porsche seats I got from Bennie (vwoldies), stripped them bare and reupholstered them.

Now for the weekend update.
Wanted to put some attitute into the rear of the car.
