You can see me an Chris fitting a 205 x 5 PCD (standard beetle) to a 130 x 5 Porsche adapter on my fastback to fit porsche wheels.
Look up PCD on google the last number indicates the amount of wheelnuts/studs

ok so thanks to eben i now know what wheel adaptors are :D :D :D ,anyways the front beam is almost cleaned up and all the parts for it are ready and the rest will bougth on monday i will be off to pretoria to collect the front beam bushings ,handbrake cable, brake shoes,brake cylinders and a few more to get the brakes and handbrake working mirrors are being picked up from post office today,then am going to be working on electical sytem then will need to find a front windscreen and start saving up for engine and paint job and then need two front seats migth of left out a few things but my list is on its way oh ja and a spare rim will also have to be found and this is where the fun begins and mt fingers are now sore from :puterwork:

ok so today was interresting went out to kliprevier to go look at a donor bug that the the owner doesnt want any more luckily for me it has all the parts i need to build my beetle but the down side of it all is that the engine is a 1300 so is not what im looking for but will get my beetle on the road

A 1300 is better then nothing for now.You can use that untill you can afford to get a decent 1600 engine.

Have yo spoken to Forcecooled yet?
