No quite the opposite had a good day just tired of the "MTM" factor, it was amusing from a while but now it's just irritating!

Well, Lets introduce myself.

First, I live in the Netherlands. I hope that is no problem for joining this forum.,

I'am completely into the Karmann-ghia.
I own three real cars and more than 550 miniatures of the karmann-ghia. You can see my cars at my homepage: http://www.karmann-ghia.nl/

Recently I started a new online registry for the lowlight karmann-ghia (build between 55-59)
The site is: http://www.kglowlightregistry.com. I hope all KG lowlight owners in South Africa will join the register.

beside the lowlight site, I also started the KG registry in The Netherlands. http://www.karmann-ghia.nl/registratie/ and made a page about Karmann-ghia collectibles: http://www.karmann-ghia.nl/collectibles/

Regards

Patrick

Hello fellow VW enthusiasts. By way of introduction, I have liked these vehicles all my life, and have had many in the family over the years. Grandfather had a classic cabrio beetle and notchback, the second family car was a 70s VW "Thing" if you remember those/have seen pictures, and I currently have an early 70s cabrio beetle. I am American and live in Durban.

I am looking to purchase a bus sometime in the relatively near future (within a couple of months) and selling my beetle. I will post pictures of the beetle here when I am ready to sell it before it, goes to the autotrader. I would like a split window bus but will probably go with a bay window as the budget is tight. An attractive camper is a possibility.

In any event, nice to meet you all and greetings to you and your fine VW friends.

-John

Welcome fellow VW Heads.

Chrisaj. Look for a fleetline. Could get one about the same price as a Bay.

And to the purests I do recognise a fleetline as a bus.
