1st Test at Newlands, Cape Town - Jan 22-27, 1970, South Africa won by 170 runs (South Africa 382 and 232; Australia 164 and 280).
2nd Test at Kingsmead, Durban - Feb 5-9, 1970, South Africa won by an innings and 129 runs (South Africa 622/9d; Australia 157 and 336 f/o).
3rd Test at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg - Feb 19-24, 1970, South Africa won by 307 runs (South Africa 279 and 408; Australia 202 and 178).
4th Test at Crusaders Ground, St George's Park, Port Elizabeth - Mar 5-10, 1970, South Africa won by 323 runs (South Africa 311 and 470/8d; Australia 212 and 246).
Result Australia 0, South Africa 4, Drawn 0

The last time we won a test in Aus was when Ali Bacher was still captain and we won 5-0!

Its great now days when I talk to one of my Aussie workmates its like ah yes the rugby ,,,,,,mmmm , oh did you hear we are hosting the Soccer world cup? .....anhd BTW do you know WHO WON THE CRICKET !!!! LLOL!!! PM

Yes they will beat them. The aussie team is in turmoil Haden thier openr is way out of form Lee is past it and thier wicket keeper think he is a batter and isnt. Its a real change of guard for them I think they are contemplating Shane Warne LOL PM

#Well we didnt win the third test but what a performance from Graham Smith batting with a broken hand and elbow. By loosing the lasrt test the Proteas failed to win the number 1 rankings but they won lots of respect for thier great performance led by thoier corageous captain.
Smith also finished the year as the leading runs scorer in Test cricket for 2008 with an aggregate of 1656 – the third best in history for a calendar year behind Mohammed Yousuf of Pakistan and Viv Richards of the West Indies. Smith also has taken his winning percentage as Test captain past the 50 mark.

20twenties I never expected us to do well and who really cares about them, is a show for the fans, hardly enough time to get a decent braai and buzz going....

The 50over games will be good to watch....
