Have always been interested, but have never gone further than off-shore snorkeling. Are you OpenWater qualified Vader, or planning to start? Are there inland diving spots in and around GP?

I am certified done 15 dives in False Bay, Shark Ally, Boulders, Long Beach and some others.... There are a lot of inland Dives in Jhb, dam dives, cave dives and the such.

I was thinking that we could combine two loves of land and sea. Have an annual aircooled/water cooled event. Aircooled VW's and Watercooled Scuba.... All the divers on the site plus anyone else we meet somewhere and then for a week we drive from dive site to pick nick spot diving and site seeing and having a blast. Non-divers would be welcome to join the Aircooled part but for safety reasons only certified divers would do the watercooled part. We could do boat dives, wrecks & shark dives......

I have my advanced open water ticket. Haven't dived for a couple of years, but would love to combine ACVW road tripping with diving.

I think it could be a fun event and maybe get some new divers involved in the sport... Maybe sink an old bug or bus and create a place for us to drive underwater and a new reef for da fishes....

In pink gear? I don't think so ...

It's an image I pulled from vintagebus.com. I think it was taken in Hawaii.

Guys....& Gals....

The diver part of my ID isn't for what you sick minded people might have thought.... :)

I'm a qualified diving instructor. Love to go diving (haven't been in for a while as other priority's) and I know someone in the Cape Town diving club if you want to try and do something!
