Yesterday I came across this Beetle in Pretoria.

It sits on an abandoned used car lot that is being cleared for new tennants.

I spoke to the owner and he needs to have the car moved a.s.a.p.

I do not have the space to take it, so if anybody is interested.

It is left hand drive, with ball joint front suspension, no engine.
From what I could see, the right hand side of the floorpan needs to be replaced.
The body looks fairly straight and all glass is intact.

The car was de-registered, but the owner has all the papers. (I've seen them)

Paperwork says it's a 1976 model.

He wants R5000 for it.

JMVV you really find some nice treasures!!!!!!!!!!

This would make a fine project - I would if it could be an IRS car?

I could not gain access to the rear of the car, but if the paperwork is correct, chances are that it might have IRS

This morning I took the Jeep and dragged the beetle from its grave.

The floor is totally shot

But it had some cool touches
Like a heated rear window

No Beetlepower, that steering wheel is one of the reasons I bought the car.

The guy I bought the car from does have a SP steering wheel in good condition though - only missing the horn button.

PM me for contact details if interested.
