The last time that CAR featured a nice early Beetle was in March 1990 - The original Blitzkrieg Beetle

I think i might still have that issue, will have to scratch a bit. And i will take a look.

Still have a mint and a trashed copy of the March 1990 CAR.

I read this article. It is awesome. They say that it has "shaved rain channels", but it still seems to have them or am I missing something?

There is another person in Zeerust who also has a Rotary fitted 60's beetle. His name is Chris Wellman or something like that. Also a very nice job and his has been running for ages.

There is also another Rotary powered early 60's Beetle in Witbank. Also Restored by Hannes Schnetler. Two-tone Light/Dark brown with matching 5Spoke EMPI's. Very nice too!
