Hi my name is Ruan and I love VWs!
Plain and simple. My family has been into ACVW and WCVWs since before i was born. So obviously, that was the route I would follow.
I'm in the market for a bug at the moment, but till i find one, this is what i drive. My lovingly converted 1994 CiTI:
Thanx for looking.

Very nice Golf.
You obviously went through a lot of trouble getting the old school look on such a relatively new Golf.

Hi, thank you, yes, finding pre 1980s golf parts is a huge mission! and very expensive. I will definitely not do it again. Its almost complete so the car will go to the wife so i can start on something new...

I have to LOL at that statement. Finding pre '80 Golf parts is easier - I know of someone who has a stash of NOS MK1 chrome bumpers, grilles etc.
It's harder finding ACVW parts -

And that is why i cant wait to start on a ACVW.
Nothing better than wondering through a scrapyard with Peter Stuyvesant and a shopping trolley, collecting chrome bits & pieces.

I am a HUGE fan of the first Golfs - aka Old Skool!! I would LOVE to have one, but the wife put her foot down and said enough cars in the driveway, behind the house, next to the house and filling up the garage/s!!!!!
