Right, this is about the time I would love to stick my head in the sand and vanish.

I'm afraid I owe a lot of people here a big apology. As many have indicated, lots of us thought that this whole aircooled.net thing was a joke.
Personally I thought I'd play along and add a few timbers to the fire, just to liven things up a bit.

Unfortunately, after many PM's, emails and angry words between myself, Eugene and Eben... I'm sad to say that I was wrong.

My apologies to those I might have insulted, but especially to Chris. You were right dude. I was deliberately attempting to bait you because I know how you, as I, hate the whole exporting debacle.

Eben, seriously sorry bru. I honestly thought you and Eugene were up to a good old joke here. I'll completely understand if you kick me off.
Eugene, good luck with your site dude, my suggestions stand but I'm afraid I'll have to rescind my offer of being a moderator. I can not in good continence be the moderator of a site that condones exporting our precious metals.

The thing you fools don't get, is that this is not an exporting forum FFS

It will be a site where you can expect to be treated with respect and sell your property to any member.

What do you think is going to happen.

The moment to have no bars holding the exporters back you are going to loose cars to these dogs at a ridiculous pace.

I think its a site where something constructive is being done to cut out the evil exporter and hock up a needy seller with a willing buyer, so that the poor seller can actually be rewarded with the full price of his VW and not just get a tip from an unscrupulous middle man.. I think that is what everyone wants and it a proactive way to put the exporters out of business.....

Something I think we (ACVWSA) need to look at instead of approaching this situation with the ostrich mentality by sticking our heads in the ground and hoping that our fable attempts will make the bad men go away....

But like EVERYONE keeps say it's eben's site and blablablablabla fish cake....

I don't want to put the exporters out of business in the first instance. I want to keep the SA stock in SA. If this can make a dent in the exporters pockets then added bonus I say. After being to Volksworld this weekend I can see even less valid reason for SA vehicles to go there....
If the 50 plus suppliers they have there (from who you can buy ANY part) still make it less expensive for them to import a bus than repairing "the rotten ones" then they need to take it up with their suppliers because they are working them up the bum then....

Well I've said my piece, made my suggestions and from on on will not even open export related topics........
