So today I ordered some stuff from C-E , the woman on the other side of the line said that there is some-one in SA who ordered
some safari windows and a few extra bit, can this person please contact me as I would like to know about the shipping used

Nice, did you ship it ??? I must say I ordered it yesterday and its here already less than 24hours for delivery .very good,
only downside is that there are no instructions or reciept ---

Im going too, or starting to plan a new restoration/change on my 67panel, a new overhaul so Im just collecting odds and ends
I live and work in the UK so its not that bad, buying from this side, Just need to know how to get the bigger stuff home,

I shipped stuff via suitcase and some via airfreight but don't do that as the cost was more than the parts
If you are in the UK,why don't you collect in person....they life in Dorchester and you could combine with a weekend by the sea! I used to life in Bournemouth!

i also "shipped" my safari's via suitcase and managed not to pay uk vat on them and get less 15%
still burned my wallet

were they shipped without the glass,? thats a huge save on weight,?

I have shipped to SA from the UK...used a company called ExcessBaggage.com
Don't understand....Creative are in the UK and you said you were in the UK?

Yes i am currently in the uk, but the bus is at home in brackenfell, so everything I buy goes in a suitcase,
but i cant fit four rims in a suitcase so ill have to ship it to south africa

OK, I understand....so are you in a rush? I want to ship some stuff here and a friend might be bringing a container of Harleys and I'm chatting re some space.....otherwise we could ship together and share cost?

Excess Baggage where the cheapest.....I could find. I actually did airfreight in the end as didn't want to wait 8 weeks for ship but my floor panels (1.5m x 1m x .3m) was £330 air and I think ship was £180 ish
