Has anyone of you guys seen the Bay that was half burnt-ou this afternoon on the N14 East - between the Diepsloot & R55 off ramps? Seems like it was white and engine set alight causing most of the rear half to burn. I drove past at about 16:40'ish. Is it a member car? :(

A timely reminder:

* Replace your rubber fuel lines annually volks (don't forget the out-of-sight one under the fuel tank)!!!
* Ensure there is a grommet where the steel fuel line goes through the front (FIF) engine tin
* Remove the brass pipe where the fuel supply enters your carb and burr it with a file, before gluing it back in with steel epoxy. To be really safe, safety wire it in place.
* Always carry a good quality dry powder fire extinguisher in your car, at least 1kg.
* Never place a fuel filter in the engine compartment, and especially NEVER place a fuel filter on the high pressure side of the fuel pump.
* AND REPLACE YOUR RUBBER FUEL LINES ANNUALLY!!!

One of my co-workers told me about the burnt out bus on the N14. He was not sure what type it was. He told me it was a split window. He drove past it yesterday afternoon.
