Beach Buggy body styles

I have been looking for a Beach Buggy. The buggy 'bug' has gotten to me, thanks to Pines HW2, Chris, Dave, Tom Bishop Scooby powered Buggy, Cris-Blitz (to name a few). Thus I want one, and will swap Thumper for it, if its in the same condition/value. (No cash to buy ANOTHER car)
I never took that much note of them before, so I now 'see' the different body styles. Is there a thread somewhere that describes all these shapes? Or can we start one here?
The Meyers Manx was the original I suppose. The Beamish a close copy. I like these types, with the side covers that is an afterthought I think. Keeps the water off your face in the rain, and it can be used for cubby space.
