Aircooled VW South Africa

Saw these 2 Beetles a local fitment centre this week.On belongs to the owner and the black one to a customer.The red one is for sale and all the work done on it is metal.No fibre glass was used.

This red one is for sale at R40k

It is good t osee that people will do a lot to keep their Beetles on the road, but those two are not my taste. Not a big fan of those whail tails. The red one..., I take my hat off for the sheetmetal work done But the lines dont "flow" right. The two bumps behind the seat can stay, but from there, it whould realy have been done like a Roadster/Hebmuler style. My €0-02.

As far as I go ... Ilike the eyelids on the black edition ... and on the red ... ummm ... nope ... cant find anything.

I like them both but I think they could have used a better whale tail on the black one....
