In todays ultra vw, and in the background as far as i know (from being in sa two years ago) is Jean's hippy van, from CT
I recieved a few mails aswell from guys in the UK that are out on the scout about while the lions tour SA for busses, so seems like there is a few guys out there willing to export their "pride and joy's",the one guy mentioned that there are a few he is going to look at while in Cape-Town,

Would SA people ever pay the same amount for local busses as uk people do importing them,? and when are we going to get a proper Aircooled VW store with all the hard to get pieces, this would make local industry a lot better,

Every bus that leaves SA decreases the likelihood of anyone being able to establish a business to support the hobby.

Since the poms have more disposable income and the exchange rate in their favour, they will always be able to outbid us on our own buses. Which ensures the traffic is only one way. Once they leave, they will never come back.
