Started with the notch again. Painted the floor in ns4 and stripped the rear fenders to do the samE
When they resprayed the notch they never took the fenders off... so needs a bit of treatment on the body and inside fenders. Will do the same on the front fenders this weekend: )

'72 Westfalia Weekender: We scrubbed the interior vinyl today - it's amazing how much grime had built up inside the camper in 40 years Then I laid a new vinyl floor and tomorrow I'll fit a custom-built cupboard/fridge-freezer compartment behind the drivers seat...and swop the aftermarket rims for original rims.

Parts for Ghia all neatly laid out ready for install and bearings already in.
Left the bus to have some @vedubtech magic worked on linkages upfront making her easier to drive.
Will keep u posted when I drive them again

Got the motor for the Spyder back from a friend that was putting it together for me.
Now I just need to spray the tin ware and assemble it.

Thanks for posting the pic Riekert
I decided to take the rat to work today. It made the 30km journey without incident only thing is when applying brakes it pulls to the right but that is not a biggie.
Now I just have to make the return journey.

Re: What did you do on your car today?
Took my 69 for a roadworthy.
failed.....
ball joint covers,
Tie rod ends,
Leaking brake hose at the back,
Rear indicator stopped working (now working again....)
The guy made some notes and gave me 14 days to go back. Part of the roadworthy trip was to find out what needs attention. So now I know....

Took the beetle to work today and had an erran or two in the hot weather. I was quite happy with the turbo's performance in this weather. The tune is improving but I'm still learning.
